Preside at all meetings. Direct the business of the MLPC Board. Conduct the meetings in a businesslike manner, and control members when engaged in debate within the rules of the MLPC Board. Appoint committees and chairperson. Be an ex-officio member of all committees. In collaboration with other officers and members, administer to the needs and well-being of the MLPC. Have a voice in all deliberations. Interpret the letter and intent of the Constitution and the by-laws using Robert’s Rules of Order as a guide to procedures.

Support board initiatives through volunteering and can act as a liaison for any tract specific
